What we collect

Account data: username, email, full name, and an optional phone number (used only for streak reminders and support — never marketing spam). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes; nobody, including us, can read them.

Learning data: your submissions, solved questions, XP, streaks and badges — required to run the game itself.

Usage analytics: anonymous page views and session timing, used solely to improve the platform. We do not use third-party ad trackers, and we do not sell data. Ever.

Payment proofs: screenshots you upload for premium verification are stored in a protected folder accessible only to the admin, used only to verify your UPI payment, and never shared.

Cookies & local storage

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage for preferences like theme choice and Kachua Bhaiya's mute setting. No cross-site tracking cookies.

Emails

We send transactional emails only: welcome on registration, premium purchase confirmation, and replies to your support requests.

Your rights

You can request a copy or full deletion of your data anytime via the contact page. Account deletion removes your submissions, progress, and payment records permanently.

Children

CodeKatha is intended for users 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.
